With regard to our "Donate an Hour" drive to raise money to help fund hours for our accompanist, once again, good news and many thanks to everyone that has donated! Last time we reported that we have 31.5 hours... we are now up to 46 hours!!! Our goal is 50 so we are well on our way!!

Oct. Choir Booster Meeting Recap - October 11, 2011
Dear Parents:
Just a note to follow-up on yesterday's Choir Booster meeting. Thank you to those of you who were able to attend; the minutes are attached for those of you who could not make it. :)
2011-2012 ACTIVITIES: As you know, in place of Tour this year, we are planning several fun activities for the kids. We need to raise enough money to fund those activities (keeping out-of-pocket costs low for students and parents) and to allow a prudent carryover into next year. We will be holding a Dessert Auction at Broadway & Beyond, the traditional See's Candy sale at the holidays, and possibly a Butter Braid sale fundraiser as well. Our preliminary activities include a party at the holidays and a dressy event in the Spring with a nice dinner out downtown with a Broadway show!
BONFIRE: The kids will be selling hot chocolate at the Bonfire before homecoming. Don't forget to send in donations of items (see Mrs. Bean's previous email).
WINTER PARTY: Del and Kem Atkinson have graciously agreed to host the winter choir party at their home in December. Mark your calendars for December 21st at 6:00. THANK YOU to Del, Kem and Chad!
PUBLICITY: We need a parent or two who might be willing to take charge of publicity for our choir program -- take photos and video of performances, work with Bob Vaupen to submit these for our choir website,, etc. Is this you? This is vital for the promotion and growth of our choir program, so thank you in advance for considering it. Please let us know if you can help!
Our choir is really coming together nicely!! I am so excited about the upcoming performances and I hear the students are, too! Thanks for supporting the program through your assistance and volunteerism.
