2005 GBHS began investigation of IB program; discussion included staff and parent meetings
Sep2005GBHS submitted Intent to Apply document to allow research and school visitations

2006One-year application postponement requested to allow further training and visitations
Sep  2006Over 20 staff members had attended Level 1 training and/or visited IB schools
Nov2006RJUHSD application form put on website; student informational meetings at lunch

2007Total of 16 teachers offered to write 13 IB courses for Fall 2008
Mar2007Registration for 2007-08 included IB plans for current 8th and 9th graders; deadline for transfer students to apply
Apr2007Over 40 staff members had attended Level 1 training and/or visited IB schools; sign-ups for IB Level 1 and Level 2 workshops for 2007-08 began
Jun2007Application (150-page document that took 8 months to complete) submitted to New York IB office.
Sep2007GBHS staff and students continued to learn details of the IB program for the visitation
Nov2007Three-person IB group visited GBHS for 2 days to assess reality of application
