Welcome to GBiT
"To make GBHS a recognized model of technology utilization for public schools." - GBiT vision
GBiT is a student-run course unlike any other elective offered on the Granite Bay High School campus. This 'course' would be more appropriately deemed a business: veteran students assume the role of manager as they train newer students for multiple assignments related to Granite Bay High School and its surrounding community.
GBiT is comprised of three departments: Web, M&D, and Tech. The Web team focuses on coding web pages and maintaining the Granite Bay High School site. M&D (Management and Development) focuses on planning enjoyable activities that foster camaraderie for the entire GBiT community. The Tech team focuses primarily on teacher calls and other hardware difficulties experienced around the campus. Getting into GBiT
So now you're probably wondering, "How exactly do I get into GBiT?" While basic computer skills are preferred, no experience is necessary, since you'll be taught all the necessary skills while you're enrolled in the class. Once you sign up for the class, you will be required to attend an interviewing session in order to determine which group would best suit both your desires and GBiT's needs.
