In general, the District would expect that a resident could provide two or more of the following:
The District recognizes that in some cases a family may establish a temporary residence while in transition from one location to another. When a temporary residence is being established, the District may require other reasonable assurances or documents and will set a timeline for submission of documents to maintain enrollment. The District may also employ other methods for verifying residences including phone calls, letters sent to the address, home visits, or employment of agencies that verify records and residences. Please be advised that when the District determines that a family has supplied false documents to enroll a student, the student will be immediately disenrolled, and the District will report the incident to law enforcement and other appropriate agencies with a request to file charges for falsifying school records or other related charges.
